Previously, Kampung Semban is a remote village and currently renowned for its Embhan community which is one of the sub-ethnic groups of Bidayuh in Sarawak. In 2013, the villagers of Kampung Semban were moved to Bengoh Resettlement Scheme at Padawan District. This community has been widely portrayed in the local tourism industry through the spectacular appearance for their last remaining ?Ring Ladies?. These special ladies wore brass-rings around their calves call ?rasung?, and brass-rings around the forearms called ?ruyang?. This presentation aims to describe the findings based on the researcher?s experience and observation based on his field work of original Kampung Semban back in 2012 and after their resettlement in 2016.
