SARAWAK AUTHORS FESTIVAL 2022 THIS WEEK AT PUSTAKA MIRI

MIRI – Pustaka Negeri Sarawak is organizing Sarawak Authors Festival (SAF) at its three campuses this week.
For Pustaka Negeri Sarawak, Miri, SAF will commence from October 27 until 29 with various activities particularly with relations to writing and publishing of books. It is also to celebrate and appreciate the authors in Sarawak.
The objective of SAF is to encourage creativity in writing amongst local authors with its main aim of preserving the writing heritage in the state.
The festival was held three times before in 2017, 2018 and 2020. Its theme this year is ‘Legacy', which is to focus on the heritage and effects of writing from authors in the past, present and future.
The activities to be conducted include workshops, exhibitions, knowledge sharing sessions and forum.
