Pustaka Negeri Sarawak, Miri will be organizing its annual Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) Week from 1st – 7th April 2019.
The objective of this programme is to attract members of the public especially students to appreciate and admire the wonderful world of science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics.
Activities carried out throughout the week include project exhibitions, structure builders challenge, robotic workshops, catapult challenge, information literacy skills session, MBOT sessions for kids, educational talks and will be concluded with prize giving ceremony.
Most of the activities will encourage students to put on their thinking hats on designing and innovating. The competition involves teams of students and will be divided into categories. They will need to design and build innovative products from recyclable materials. Entry is free for all the activities.
