Ringkasan: This coffee table book is beautifully written and the pictures are beautifully photographed which attracts me to read and explore. This book has 224 pages, showcased the latest and best design of Balinese houses then in 2012. The book does not primarily talk on the design of the houses but attracts readers to see the beautiful furniture and finishing of homes. What I like most about this book is the idea of the author to grasp the attention of readers into a perspective that every house is a home for anyone; regardless they are the terraced villas, small condos or a small kampung house. Another interesting point is that the significant information of every home is described such as who is the architect, construction year and the core materials to construct the home. The author also shares the building norms and restrictions amongst the Balinese whenever a construction of home is taken place. The interior design of the homes is another fascinating point which I find this book is beautiful. The same goes to the tips for natural surrounding for building a home. To me, this book is a must read book for those who inspire to dream a beautiful home in his or her own way, taking the inspiration from what is written in this book.
