Ringkasan
Sex educations are constantly contended with different ideologies either support it or against it. With the ever-evolving state of media’s role in shaping people’s knowledge, sex and relationship’s advice can be acquired simply by watching the media. However, media may misrepresents certain aspects about sexuality and relationship in a misguided attempt to educate their audience using “sexperts”. While sexual objectifications, sexual violence, and more inappropriate behaviours are displayed on media, more attempts were also made to address the awareness on queer visibility, homophobia, and normality of sex. Discussions on sex work, safe sex, and consent, were explored in elaborate details as they each have dedicated chapters in this book.
