Ringkasan: In order to guide it towards a more desirable future, the International Islamic University Malaysia set out to gain from futures thinking and foresight methodologies. It organised a workshop on futures for the first time. This study emphasises the civilisation ideals that serve as the inspiration for the university's vision and purposes, as well as the ideological philosophical foundations of the IIUM.
