MIRI – As an effort to create an awareness of the functions of Pustaka
Miri, a Customers Day (Hari Bersama Pelanggan) was held on Saturday,
28th January 2012 at Emart Miri.

The open counter, which was the first of such for year 2012, was held
from 9:30am to 5:00pm and attracted some 150 visitors.

The library staffs were at hand to explain to visitors the library
facilities and services as well as activities and memberships available.

More than 20 visitors registered or renewed their library membership at
the counter and they were given tokens of appreciation while children
were treated to games and puzzles.

Similar event will be held throughout the year in and outside Pustaka
Miri as part of the effort in promoting what the library has to offer to
all levels of the community.
