Festival Sarawakiana: Sarawak Cultural Showcase: Nikah, Melah Pinang and Pinchawan

In conjunction with the Sarawakiana Festival programme to be held virtually from 1st until 30th September 2021, Pustaka Negeri Sarawak will be sharing a video entitled Sarawak Cultural Showcase: Nikah, Melah Pinang and Pinchawan on:-

The objectives of this program are:

1. To educate the public and promote knowledge sharing and research activities on Sarawak traditional wedding topics.

2. To showcase and inform the public on the Sarawakiana Series publication available in Pustaka’s collection.

Through this video, viewers will gain brief information on traditional wedding practices in Sarawak with a sneak peek of footage extracted from The Sarawakiana Series collection.

The Sarawakiana Series is a series of titles published by Pustaka Negeri Sarawak to highlight the history, ethnics, arts and culture, belief and traditions.
