Summary
Ten Thousand Skies Above You is a fiction writing that follows the story of Marguerite Caine. Basically the book is about the ability of traveling to alternate dimensions. This made possible by Henry Caine & Sophia Kovalenka both are well-known scientist. The story actually follows the story of their daughter Marguerite Caine. Apparently the scientist have their rival that is Wyatt Conley that want to destroy their successful project that is the “Firebird” which allows people to travel to alternate dimensions. Wyatt Conley always found ways to get what he want. What he want was to have the invention to himself, and he travel back and forth to stop the scientist from the marvelous finding. I the case, everyone is involve. So the story focuses on the evil things that Wyatt Conley did, the conflict, and the solution. I say that they have a good concept. I like the traveling to the alternate dimensions concept, but I do not like the romance that included in the story. In this case, Marguerite’s boyfriend who is also a scientist working with her parent is the target of Wyatt Conley. This book is the sequel of A Thousand Pieces of You, and in that book, Wyatt Conley target was Marguerite’s father that is the scientist himself Henry Caine. It would be a hit for reader that enjoys romance but, not for me but again I love the concept. I wish it was not much to the romance part; Marguerite is so in love with his boyfriend Paul and she believe that in all the alternate dimensions they are together and even when they did end up in the dimension where she end up with another person she convince that there is a flaw to it somewhere or she had not meet Paul. Love the concept but not my cup of tea but I would recommend it to those that dig romance. Other than the concept I like the vocabulary choice, the way that the story is told and the progression of the story.
