Summary
“It`s not how good you are, it`s how good you want to be” is a compilation of motivational ‘bible’ as what the author said, “..it is a concise guide to making the most of yourself - a pocket ‘bible’ for the talented and timid to make the unthinkable and the impossible possible” For me, it works as a daily motivational push or whenever I am in need of motivational push. The pocket book is packed with motivational words. I cannot really say that the book consist of motivational quote this is for the fact that most of the motivational push are the author’s personal work. If the typical motivational quote would not budge you, I say to give this a try. The author inserted the already known quote and then he elaborate the quote in his words. The pocket book are divided into some parts; The introduction, The fundamentals, If you can’t solve a problem, it’s because you’re playing by the rules, give yourself some spin, And now for a commercial break, You don’t have to be creative to be creative, new business and lastly final thought. In short there are 9 parts of the book. Each part of the books offered different function and different motivational push specially and accordingly to the needs. This isn’t like the one quote one per day kinda book which is simple and minimalist, this pocket book literally jammed packed with motivational words and to add more to it, the author even included illustration. This pocket book for me is meant to be keep for a while rather than to browse through just for a moment. In my opinion it is suitable for those that is in need of motivational push because what the author did is not like the typical motivational book. The motivational push is not just a gentle nudge on the shoulder it is literally a big push on the back.
