A host of activities are planned during the festival which include four sessions of information literacy classes for both students and the community, My Favourite Read program, e-Library session, exhibition on services and quizzes. Participants can look forward to a fun and enjoyable learning experience during the festival.
This festival hopes to create awareness to students, teachers and the community on the role of the library as an information and reference center, to generate a learning environment through activities organized and to give guidance on library management practices for resource centers.
Concurrently, Pustaka is holding its Customer Day and Membership Drive during the festival. Pustaka staff will be available to provide information to the students and public on membership and services provided by the library. Those registering as new members or renewing their membership will receive a souvenir. The counter will also showcase and promote information repackaging and CDs on local- themed tradition. The counter is open to students and the general public.
