No Tobacco Day exhibition at State Library until May 31

KUCHING – The public is encouraged to visit the World No Tobacco Day 2016 exhibition that is open from now until May 31 at the State Library.


The annual event marks World No Tobacco Day on May 31, highlighting the health risks associated with tobacco use and advocating for effective policies to reduce tobacco consumption.

The exhibition aims to raise health awareness on the consumption of tobacco products, especially among the younger and low-income groups, due to the increased access and affordability of these products.

Entrance to the No Tobacco exhibition at the Reference Area on level 1 of the state library, is free and open daily from 10am to 6pm on weekdays and 9am to 7pm on weekends. It is closed on gazetted public holidays.
