State Library to hold talk on South China Sea

Kuching – The State Library (Pustaka Negeri Sarawak) will hold a Lincoln Corner Talk entitled `South China Sea : A Primer` at its gallery on May 31 at 10am.


The talk, which will be conducted by School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) Foreign Policy Institute associate research professor and executive director Dr Carla Freeman, will focus on the South China Sea and maritime commons with emphasis on natural resources.

Freeman, who is also an associate director of the China Studies Programme, will also touch on challenges and opportunities for US policy, which will include discussion of US-China relations and the South China Sea.
