Knowledge Camp 2019

Posted on 26 March 2019

Knowledge Camp is held yearly by the library with many knowledge-and-information-filled activities. The main aim is to instill among children and youths with love and passion for acculturation of knowledge as well as making libraries the place which make learning fun beyond classrooms. Together with their mentors and organizing committee, they camped out in the library’s open courtyard.
The campers were divided into teams and participated in activities including icebreaking, information literacy skills class, gardening, motivational sessions, outdoor games, story-telling sessions, campfire, mystery nite in the library, fitness session and lots more.

The camp concluded with talent shows by all teams and prize-giving ceremony whereby all participants received certificates and hampers before bidding farewell to their mentors and facilitators. Parents and guardians were invited to witness the closing ceremony. This event will be held again next year in March 2020.
