INTERNATIONAL DUBLIN LITERARY AWARD 2020

The International DUBLIN Literary Award is presented annually for a novel of high literary merit written in English or translated into English. The award aims to promote excellence in world literature and is sponsored by Dublin City Council, the municipal government of Dublin. The award is now in its 25th year. Nominations are submitted by library systems in major cities throughout the world. For the 2020 award, Pustaka submitted a novel that meets the rules and conditions set forth by the organiser and had been submitted to Pustaka Negeri Sarawak under the Legal Deposit requirements, of the Sarawak State Library Ordinance, 1999. Prize Winner of the International DUBLIN Literary Award

The author of winning novel written and published in English language shall receive in full the amount of €100,000.

For novel written in language other than English but published in English translation the award shall be awarded as €75,000 thereof to the author and €25,000 thereof to the translator.
