Society to hold "Learning from History" talk

KUCHING: The Malaysian Historical Society Sarawak will hold a public talk titled "Learning from History" on June 22 at 9 am at the Sarawak State Library.

A press release yesterday said Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) senior lecturer Assoc Prof Bilcher Bala will deliver the talk, which aims to raise awareness of the importance of learning and understanding history.

It will also remind the public especially students, to take steps to understand historic moments in our country.
