26th August 2024, KUCHING - Last Friday, Pustaka welcomed a courtesy visit from the Sarawak Resource Development Centre aims for a potential collaboration between the SRDC and Pustaka;

1. Collaborative Learning Spaces: - Pustaka will serve as a resource hub for Science Centre visitors to access books and deepen their knowledge. - The Science Centre will provide experiential learning opportunities to complement the theoretical resources available at Pustaka.

2. Online Database Collaboration: - Joint efforts to subscribe to essential online databases will give Science Centre users and the public access to valuable scientific and educational content.

3. Transportation Between Institutions: - The possibility of establishing a mode of transportation for easy commuting between Pustaka and the Science Centre is being explored.

4. Shared Office Space: - Rooms at both Pustaka and the Science Centre will be allocated for officers from both institutions to utilize, fostering closer collaboration.

5. Science Centre Staff as Pustaka Users: - Science Centre staff will be granted access to Pustaka’s resources, further integrating the roles of both institutions.

It is hoped that this session will soon deepen the cooperation between SRDC and Pustaka, delivering significant benefits to the people of Sarawak by enhancing resources and opportunities for the entire community.
