Summary
This novel is a tribute to a ginger kitten that had been found by the library director of Spencer Public Library, Iowa. The cat was shoved into the after-hours book-return slot and Vicki Myron adopted it in the library and named it Dewey. This novel tells story on how this cat touch Vicki�s life and the lives of others in that classic American town. Vicki, a single mother dealt with a lot of circumstances in life, had survived the loss of her family farm, a breast cancer scare, and an alcoholic husband. This cat had won the heart of Vicky and other people of Spencer with his enthusiasm, affection, warmth and also the gesture of thanks and love.
