Summary: In the book, Nikki Maxwell isn’t at all surprised to find out that her crush Brandon volunteers at a local animal shelter. He’s such a sweet guy and he wants to help those adorable puppies. Brandon tells her that the animal shelter is about to close for good and Nikki can’t let that happen. Nikki then come with a brilliant idea to keep the shelter open. Nikki and her friends Zoe and Chloe join an ice skating competition to help raise some money for the shelter. Out of nowhere, Mckenzie has to stick her nose in and cause a trouble so that she can be the one swoop in and save the day. No way will Nikki let that happen. Nikki continues come up with somw extra brilliant ideas this time.
