Summary
This book was written in an analytical manner where it refers to Wollstonecraft`s original writing in 1792. A statement made by a French philosopher, Rousseau, where "women should be educated only to serve men" infuriated Wollstonecraft and is the reason this book exists. In my opinion, the statement made by Rousseau is enough to express what are the content of this book. It analyses clearly with simple words and explanation yet we still could feel the passion and expression of Wollstonecraft talking about women`s rights. It amazes me how this book is still being discovered, on research and the topic is relevant to this day. It is also a great read for the readers who wants to know about feminism and how it developed from the earlier century. This proves that feminism was never an alien topic to talk about.
