Summary
Planetary photometry is the science that deals with measuring the brightness of an object within the solar system, determining how that brightness varies with illumination and viewing geometry, and discovering what this can tell us about the object. This book is a new term of planetary research, which include what people can see through the eyes of telescope, the camera and the robotic emissaries. Planetary photometry strengthen nearly every planetary discovery based on the use and comparison of telescopic and space craft observations. After digesting this book, the reader should be able to converse with experts in planetary without embarrassment. Besides scientific researches, the author also include tons of images from The Royal Observatory and Catalina Sky Observatory to capture the heart of the readers who is interested in planetary photometry to dive in to this book.
