Summary: One of the most intriguing study disciplines of the twenty-first century is unleashing the power of artificial intelligence. The author offers an architecture that models a computer system with its own artificial consciousness by drawing on the fundamentals of the human psyche--what makes us human. Using a constructivist and organizational approach to the problem, the author draws on concepts from psychology, neuroscience, philosophy, and complex system mathematics to build from the ground up a system composed of fundamental components that exchange information to perform actions and, eventually, to self-organize.
