Summary
ADD (Attention-Deficit Disorder) and ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) are some of the common disorder faced by children and adults. While some are diagnosed early, the rest may be undiagnosed late or undiagnosed at all. The book removes and clarifies many rumours and assumptions of ADD/ADHD, so that the reader can empathize and understand people with these disorders. ADD/ADHD symptoms and impairments are discussed with its impacts on children and adults. Treatments, both medical and nonmedication are discussed as these disorders have the tendencies to worsen or improve, and even co-occur with other disorders, changing the dynamics in emotions for people around them.
