This book has a gentle and encouraging tone. Right from the start, the author reminds us that feeling anxious is a normal part of being human. That alone feels comforting. The book doesn’t judge, but instead offers ways to manage anxiety better, like mindfulness and breathing techniques. It also points out that sometimes, getting help from a professional is the right step. Each section is short, and the whole book is only 125 pages, so it’s easy to read without feeling overwhelmed. I personally liked the quotes, from Kahlil Gibran: “Our anxiety does not come from thinking about the future, but from wanting to control it.”
