BASIC FOR DISASTER RECOVERY PROGRAMMES (BERES) SERIES 1 & 2

KUCHING: Monday, 6 March 2023 - This year, the Sarawak State Library has introduced an awareness program for the preservation of archival materials through the Basic For Disaster Recovery Programs (BERES) and it took place from 20 to 23 February 2023 at the Multipurpose Room, State Records Repository.

This program aims to give exposure to Departmental Records Officers (PRJ) about the basic techniques used to save records after a disaster as well as increase understanding of the importance of saving records after a disaster, especially in Sarawak government departments and agencies. A total of 22 participants from the Sarawak Syariah Justice Department attended the program held at the State Records Repository.
