LITERACY ONLINE INFORMATION SOURCE SERVICE FOR SARAWAK STATE LIBRARY STAFF

KUCHING: Wednesday, 05 April 2023 - Online Information Resource Service Literacy for 25 Sarawak State Library staff for Session 1/2023 was held successfully at the ICT Training Room, Library.

The literacy purpose of this session is to improve the participants' digital and information literacy skills by accessing the OPAC and Pangkala Data to obtain reading materials such as Press Reader, LawNet, National Geographic Virtual Library, CABI and Summon. Participants are also exposed to information search strategies to broaden the search for more accurate information.

The facilitator for this program was delivered by Puan Nurfatini Apandi, Sarawak State Library Librarian and assisted by Assistant Librarian, Miss Nur Asikin@Mira Ahmad and Mr. John Nyo-Em.
